Meet Dr. Tiffany Harrop

Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a licensed psychologist based in Kansas City, and I specialize in supporting individuals for whom ambition, achievement, and anxiety are intertwined. I’ve worked with driven, capable folks across healthcare, academic, government, corporate, creative, and legal environments. They’re used to carrying a lot — and doing it well — but the internal cost can be heavy.

I understand how challenging it can be to move between your personal and professional worlds while managing acute stress, emotional overwhelm, harsh self‑criticism, procrastination and avoidance, shame, or exhaustion and burnout. It’s easy to lose touch with what matters most when you’re constantly striving to meet expectations, whether they come from others or from within.

As a woman and a person with a physical disability, I also understand the weight of navigating systemic inequities in spaces that aren’t built to include everyone. That added “tax” can feed cycles of self‑doubt, fatigue, and pressure to over‑perform simply to be seen, heard, and valued.

I offer an inclusive and affirming space where you can set everything down — even briefly — and reconnect with yourself, your strengths, and your meaning and purpose.

Therapeutic Approach:

I’m trained as both a scientist and a clinician, so my work is grounded in solid research knowledge while staying deeply personal and human. I help you understand how your mind and body work together so you can build insight, confidence, and practical tools to navigate challenges with more clarity, resilience, and self‑trust.

I offer evidence‑based therapy delivered with warmth, curiosity, humor, and respect for your lived experience. Drawing from approaches like ACT, CBT, CFT, and DBT, I tailor our work to your strengths, needs, and values—meeting you where you are. Therapy is a collaborative process, guided by what matters most to you, and focused on creating meaningful, sustainable change in your everyday life.
