Fees/Insurance

I am not in-network or affiliated with any insurance plans, including Medicare, Tricare, or Medicaid. What that means is that all services are private pay.

On a monthly basis, I will provide you with a superbill, which is a document that may be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement for out-of-network services. The coverage for out-of-network services varies depending on insurance plans (typically 40-80% of the session fee), so it’s best to contact your insurance company and ask about the out-of-network reimbursement rate (see additional information in the FAQ section below).

I know that beginning therapy is both a personal and financial investment. To help make support more accessible, I offer a limited number of reduced‑fee spots. If this would be helpful for you, please feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to talk through your options.

Investment

Therapy is a meaningful investment in your most valuable asset: yourself. Many people hesitate to invest time and money in their own wellbeing, even though they readily do so for others. Remember, your health is important and you are worth the care you give.

Here is how therapy pays dividends over time:

1. Emotional Health and Resilience

Investing in therapy can help you develop the tools needed to manage stress, regulate emotions, and navigate life’s inevitable challenges with greater ease. These skills can reduce the severity and frequency of emotional crises, lowering the overall “cost” of distress in your life.

2. Improved Relationships

Therapy often leads to healthier relationships—romantic, friendship, familial, or professional. Improved communication, boundary-setting, empathy, and conflict resolution can not only enhance your happiness but also prevent the emotional and financial costs of dysfunctional relationships.

3. Physical Health Benefits

There is a strong connection between psychological health and physical wellness. Addressing mental health issues can reduce the risk of chronic illnesses, improve sleep, and lower stress-related symptoms—all of which can reduce medical costs over time.

4. Professional Growth

Emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and resilience are key ingredients for professional success. You may find that therapy helps you identify strengths, clarify goals and values, and overcome workplace challenges, translating to improved satisfaction.

5. Intergenerational Impact

The benefits of therapy do not stop with you. By breaking harmful patterns, developing healthy coping mechanisms, and improving communication, you can positively impact your children, partner, family, and communities.
